What We Do at Wouters Landscaping

We are a full-service landscape company. Whatever your needs, we can help - from replacing a few overgrown shrubs and some fresh bark or stone to a comprehensive plan for your entire yard. With your input and budget in mind, a plan can be created that incorporates hardy northern grown shrubs, trees, perennials and annuals. The style of your home and the characteristics of your yard offer unique possibilities. It all starts with a phone call. Together we can assess and prioritize your needs, desires and vision for your home and yard. My goal is to make the planning process easy and fun for you with the help of my knowledge and experience.

Upon completion of your project, I will provide detailed information on watering, fertilizing and pruning. The following spring, I'm happy to schedule a follow-up appointment. At that time, we can take a close look at everything and identify any possible problems or concerns. I can also offer some hands-on pruning instruction. Proper pruning is very important for the longevity and health of all your plantings. If you prefer we can do the pruning for you ,along with any spring and or fall clean up.

Older homes offer unique opportunities because of the mature trees and shrubs that are already well- established. With your input and careful evaluation, we can determine what things may need to be removed and what should definitely stay. Then I can suggest some additions that will complement and enhance the existing plantings. It's always amazing what a difference some smart, budget-friendly changes can make for your home and yard. As with all projects, I always look forward to returning the following spring to check everything and answer any questions or concerns. I can also offer some hands-on pruning lessons to ensure all your trees and shrubs remain healthy and vibrant long into the future.

We are happy to fix minor or major lawn problems. Everyone deserves a nice looking, easy-to-care-for lawn. Less than ideal lawns often involve water problems. Over the years, I've seen many lawns that were not properly graded when originally installed. That fact, combined with normal soil compaction over time, can lead to water problems that can become quite severe. Let us help! A well-drained, properly graded lawn not only looks nice, but keeps water away from your home as well. Many people who live for years with the frustration of a poor quality and sometimes unusable lawn are so amazed when it's finally fixed. Call today for a free evaluation and estimate to get started on a permanent solution.

We can do as much or as little as you need - pruning, weed control, adding fresh bark or stone, fall and spring clean-up, replacing dead or tired shrubs. We also install seasonal annual and perennial flowers.

I really enjoy helping the “do-it-yourselfer” achieve professional results. We can help you a little or a lot. Proper design and layout are very important - along with good advice and direction. Doing some or most of the work yourself is a great way to save money. We'll help make sure it turns out right.

I always have time for existing customers. I am personally involved with all the required follow-up service. This gives me the opportunity to see other possible problems, offer feedback and address any possible concerns that customers may have. It’s one of the many benefits you receive from our small hands-on company.
